The quantum theory

Quantum theory is the theoretical foundation of modern physics. It explains the nature and behavior of matter and energy at the atomic and subatomic level. The nature and behavior of matter and energy at this level are sometimes called quantum physics and quantum mechanics. Physicist Max Planck presented his quantum theory to the German Physical Society in 1900. This book was written by Fritz Reiche, a German physicist and student of Max Planck. He was active in and made important contributions to the early development of quantum mechanics, including the co-authorship of the Thomas-Reiche-Kuhn sum rule. Fritz Reiche has published over 55 scientific papers and books and this book is one of them. This work was published in 1922.
