John Knox


John Knox (c. 1513 - 24 November 1572) was a Scottish minister, theologian, and writer who was a leader of the country's Reformation. He is the founder of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland.

John Knox is a principal figure in the development of the system of Christian theology, which deeply influenced Protestantism in Europe and in the United States. The Calvinist form of Protestantism is widely thought to have had a major impact on the formation of the modern world.
