H. B. Kendall


Holliday Bickerstaff (e) Kendall (August 2, 1844 - March 10, 1919) was the primitive Methodist Minister, President of the Conference (1901). The editor (Primitive Methodist Publishing House), author and historian, Kendall wrote three separate stories of the Primitive Methodist Church, which became the final history of the Church. He was born on August 2, 1844 in Wakefield. He was the only child of Rev. Charles Kendall and Sarah Bickerstaff. It was named after a family friend, the Rev. Thomas Holliday, and his mother's family, Bikerstaffe. He served as a primitive Methodist Minister from 1864 to 1903.
