Edward C. Billings

Edward Coke Billings (December 3, 1829 to December 1, 1893) was a US District Judge of District Court for the District of Louisiana and the Eastern District of Louisiana. Born in Hatfield, Massachusetts, Billings graduated at Yale University in 1853 and in 1855 received his Bachelor of Laws from Harvard Law School. He entered private practice in NYC from 1855 to 1865, and continued private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana between 1865 and 1876.
