Book description

Tennis for women – is a book written by Molla Bjurstedt and published in 1916. Molla Bjurstedt was a Norwegian, later an American tennis player. She won a record eight singles titles at the United States Championships. Molla Bjurstedt was also the first woman to represent Norway at the Olympics. This little book does not claim to be a scientific treatise on tennis. It presents the author's ideas about the game, in particular, that women should play it. Many great players will undoubtedly agree with the author, and many other equally great players will undoubtedly disagree with her. This book is just a sketch of the game as Molla Bjurstedt knows it. This is an illustrated edition with numerous photographs and consists of thirteen chapters.

I have always been pleased with the service of Trieste Publishing I have received when dealing with your department. However, the professionalism I experienced yesterday exceeded my expectations.
