Samuel McChord Crothers


Samuel McChord Crothers (1857 to 1927) was a US Unitarian minister at The First Parish in Cambridge, and was also a popular essayist. Graduating from Wittenberg College in 1873, a year later he graduated from the College of New Jersey which became Princeton University. He became a Presbyterian minister after having obtained a divinity degree at Union Theological Seminary in 1877. In 1881 he resigned and joined the Unitarian church in 1882.
