Richard Frederick Littledale
Richard Frederick Littledale (1833–1890) was an Anglo-Irish author and clergyman. He was born in Dublin, the fourth son ofauctioneer John Littledale. In 1850 he entered Trinity College Dublin, was elected a Scholar in 1852, graduated with a B.A. (First Class) in classics. In 1855 he won the senior Berkeley gold medal and was awarded the first divinity prize.
